Web3 Wallet Setup and Mumbai Testnet

For seamless interaction with our marketplace, developers need to set up multiple wallet accounts on the Mumbai Testnet. These wallets will simulate different user roles and interactions within our application.

  1. Creating Wallets on Mumbai Testnet:

    • To interact with our platform, you'll need four distinct wallets:
      • User Account Wallet
      • Super Admin Wallet
      • Sub Admin Wallet
      • Brand Admin Wallet
    • Wallets can be created using popular Ethereum wallet extensions like Metamask.

  2. Switching to Mumbai Testnet on Metamask:

    • Click on the network selection dropdown (by default, it might be set to "Ethereum Mainnet").
    • Choose "Custom RPC" to add a new network.
    • Fill in the network details for Mumbai Testnet:
      • Network Name: Mumbai Testnet
      • New RPC URL: https://rpc-mumbai.matic.today
      • Chain ID: 80001
      • Symbol: MATIC
      • Block Explorer URL: https://explorer-mumbai.maticvigil.com/
    • Save the configurations. You should now be connected to the Mumbai Testnet.

  3. Acquiring USDT for Transactions:

    • Once you've created your wallets, you'll need USDT (Tether) to facilitate web3 transactions within the application.
    • To obtain USDT on the Mumbai Testnet:
      • Head to a faucet like Matic Faucet to get some test MATIC tokens.
      • Use these MATIC tokens on a decentralized exchange on the Mumbai Testnet to swap for test USDT.

  4. Wallet Authorization and USDT Allocation:

    • After setting up your wallets, contact Hasaan NADEEM on Skype.
    • Provide him with your wallet addresses.
    • Hasaan will then authorize these wallets for the respective roles and furnish them with the required USDT for testing purposes.
