4. Employee Obligations

At Galileo, our collective commitment to excellence is a driving force. To maintain this, it's essential that each team member understands and abides by their professional obligations.

Code of Conduct

  • Respect and Collaboration: We expect all employees to foster a workspace of mutual respect, free of any discrimination, and centered around collaborative efforts.
  • Ethical Standards: Engage in honest work, act with integrity, and avoid any action that might harm the reputation of the company or its members.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of the latest industry developments and continually hone your skills to contribute meaningfully.

Performance and Productivity Expectations

  • Work Hours: Employees are expected to work a minimum of 35 hours per week, from Monday to Friday.
  • Daily Reporting:
    • Check-in: Upon starting your workday, post a message on the #daily-report channel on Slack. This message should detail the objectives set for the day.
    • Check-out: Before signing off for the day, post a summary of your accomplishments in the #daily-report channel. Additionally, include your starting and ending times.
  • Weekly Meetings:
    • Monday Meeting (10 AM CET): A dedicated IT session to outline the week's tech-related objectives.
    • Friday Meeting (4 PM CET): A company-wide assembly to review the week's achievements. Every employee is required to present a summary of their work, highlighting key accomplishments and hinting at the subsequent week's objectives.

Confidentiality and Security Rules

  • Data Protection: Safeguard all company data, proprietary codes, and client information. Any unauthorized sharing can lead to severe repercussions.
  • Software Use: Only use licensed software and refrain from installing any unauthorized applications that might pose a security risk.
  • Remote Work: If working remotely, ensure a secure connection (preferably VPN) to the company's systems and refrain from discussing sensitive information in public spaces.

In essence, our obligations are designed not as mere rules, but as pathways to foster a secure, productive, and harmonious working environment. Adhering to these is essential for individual success and the collective growth of Galileo.
